  1. Hey there! I have so much Caudill blood, I feel like I’m kin to nearly everyone. 🙂 Please help…. Has anyone proven the parents of Henrietta “Henny” Caudill who married Benjamin Adams? Would love to have that piece of the puzzle. She’s in my direct maternal lineage. Please share if you know.
    Thanks!

    • I do not know if it’s a connection or not,but Henry H Caudill , born in 1821’was a grandson of Revloutionry war vet James Caudill Jr. And Mary Adams. .may not even be related . But it’s a Caudill and Adams marriage.11-05-18 the info was sent to my Dad a few years before he passed. A Rich Smith came looking (in Clay Cty ,Ky) for his grandmothers grave and was shocked to find her half brother still alive. He sent some info to Dad. I have the card now.

  2. My mother was Joyce Ann (Hartshorn) Miller Moore. She had an affair with Edward Caudill in 1960. I was the product of that affair. My bio mother, whom I met 15 years ago, was a wonderful lady who never told anyone (including Edward Caudill) that she had a baby in March 1960, and gave her up for adoption. Thru ancestry.com I have been linked to a 2nd cousin. My bio mother was from Eaton, Ohio and I was adopted into a family near Dayton, Ohio. I now live in California, married to an almond farmer for 36 years and have 5 children and 1 grandson. Would love to hear if anyone has a connection to Edward Caudill, born in 1926, and died in 2007 in Johnson, KY Thank You.

  5. Hi
I am looking for information on my 4xgrandmother – Mary Polly Caudill born 1828/1830. I cannot find her parents. She had children with Syra Combs. He was married to her aunt, Mary Polly Roberts Caudill. The 1850 Census shows that she lived with Syra and Mary in Breathitt County, Kentucky.
    My lineage continues with:
    Benjamin Franklin Caudill/Combs b. 1850 Breathitt Co.
    Henry Caudell b. May 4, 1872 Breathitt Co. d. May 24, 1944
    Albert Caudill b. 1901 Breathitt Co. d. 1967
    Alice Caudill Hall b. Dec. 2, 1934 to Dec. 13, 2014

Mary Roberts Caudill was born 1824 and was John and Mary Roberts Caudill daughter.

There is a lot of confusion because both of them lived with and had children with Syra Combs, and my Mary is confused with her aunt. I can’t find her in Caudill info, Combs info, or Roberts info.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
