    • Thanks Lenny good to be back. I had a website since 1990 but then went out of the country for a while and recently had to change providers. Many good friends and memories. My Mom and Dad are now 80 years old!

    • HEY LENNY,

THIS IS CARTER L. MARKER (REF EMAIL FROM SWORDANDKEYGIFT@AOL.COM. RECEIVED YOUR REPLY TO MY REQUEST FOR A COPY OF “OUT ON A LIMB”. I HAVE MY GRANDMOTHER MARGIE DELINA CAUDILL MARKER’S COPY WHICH IS FALLING APART. JUST WANTED TO SEE IF I COULD GET A NEW COPY. SORRY TO HEAR IT IS NO LONGER IN PRINT. I BET IF IT WERE REPRINTED AND MADE KNOW KNOWN TO THE HEIRS, IT WOULD BRING BACK A MINT IN SALES!

THANKS FOR YOU REPLY. AND GOD BLESS! CARTER 🙂

      • Carter, I am Laura Caudill. My husband, James Robert, is a descendant of John A. Caudill and Rachel Cornett (John Dixon Caudill is his great grandfather). Regarding your grandmother’s “Out on a Limb”, since it is out of print, would it be possible for you to scan it into the computer. Depending on how long it is, you could save the individual pages and put them into a folder. I did that with my grandfather’s WWII diary, and it worked out well. This is just a suggestion so that the information in it, won’t be lost.

Also, I have been researching our branch of the Caudill’s for almost 40 years. During this time, I have come across many photos. Are you interested in them?

        • I am also a descendant of John Caudill and Rachel Cornett. My great-great grandfather was Stephen Jacob Caudill (1826-1900). My great=grandfather was John Dixon Caudill Sr. (1854-1937) and my grandfather was John Jr. (1888-1953). My father was John Dixon Caudill III (1927-2008). I have few pictures of his family since my parents divorced when I was 10 years old. I have researched the family on Ancestry.
